Senior Executive/Executive, Distribution – Property & Casualty

Job Summary

The successful candidate will handle a sizable portfolio in P&C lines for the Broker and Agency channels. He/she will be responsible for achieving top line and bottom-line targets in accordance with local and regional strategies, target segments and underwriting guidelines. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Manage own renewal portfolio and develop new business opportunities  
  • Maintain relationships with identified agency and brokers  
  • Work closely with teammates and other functional teams to achieve the goals  
  • Work with Team Lead to form and implement strategies with action plan  
  • Support any ad hoc tasks  

Requirements:  

  • Bachelor’s degree holder preferred with min. 3 years of experience in business development roles 
  • Passing Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE) – Paper 1 & 2 is a must  
  • Strong track record of developing profitable portfolio 
  • Ability to work independently, efficiently and under pressure in fast changing environment 
  • Ability to navigating ambiguity and adapting to changes 
  • Good decision-making skills and can effectively interact with people internally and externally 
  • Proven strategic, analytical & problem-solving skills 
  • Result oriented, self-motivated, strong sense of ownership 
  • Advocate growth mind-set and “can do” attitude 
  • Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
