Job Summary
The successful candidate will handle a sizable portfolio in P&C lines for the Broker and Agency channels. He/she will be responsible for achieving top line and bottom-line targets in accordance with local and regional strategies, target segments and underwriting guidelines.
Responsibilities:
- Manage own renewal portfolio and develop new business opportunities
- Maintain relationships with identified agency and brokers
- Work closely with teammates and other functional teams to achieve the goals
- Work with Team Lead to form and implement strategies with action plan
- Support any ad hoc tasks
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree holder preferred with min. 3 years of experience in business development roles
- Passing Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examination (IIQE) – Paper 1 & 2 is a must
- Strong track record of developing profitable portfolio
- Ability to work independently, efficiently and under pressure in fast changing environment
- Ability to navigating ambiguity and adapting to changes
- Good decision-making skills and can effectively interact with people internally and externally
- Proven strategic, analytical & problem-solving skills
- Result oriented, self-motivated, strong sense of ownership
- Advocate growth mind-set and “can do” attitude
- Excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
